The Old Bank is built on the site of the former Barclay's Bank (and before that Manchester Bank) on Market Street. It opened about four years ago and is part of the Hogshead chain. This means that it always has a large range of well kept real ales in. It also has a no smoking area (for most of the day) to the rear of the pub. Altogether it is the best pub in Bradford. There may be busier pubs or more friendly. This one attracts a mixed friendly crowd and the music is pitched at a level where you don't have to shout to be heard. An ideal pub to meet people for a night out - but probably not the kind of place to go for a wild night on the pull.
