Tucked away on Blythe Road in the heart of Brook Green, the Old Parr's Head is not a place you would happen upon by accident. To even know where it is, you would either have to be a local or to be guided there by one. But once you find it, you'll be going back regularly. The pub is on the corner of a not-very-busy road and a positively empty one. It has outdoor tables on both sides, and in the summer these are a remarkably pleasant prospect, even though they are roadside rather than tucked away in a beer garden.
