Inside, the pub has wooden floors and a cosy, warm feeling. Half of the pub space is given over to tables for the Thai food, which is definitely several cuts above your average pub fare - and even above a lot of Thai restaurants I've been to in London! Portions are generous and reasonably priced, and the kitchen is open to the dining room, so that you can watch the chefs stir-fry you up a treat. Tucked away on Blythe Road in the heart of Brook Green, the Old Parr's Head is not a place you would happen upon by accident. To even know where it is, you would either have to be a local or to be guided there by one. But once you find it, you'll be going back regularly. The pub is on the corner of a not-very-busy road and a positively empty one.
