Advantages: Excellent value, Serves Real Ale

Disadvantages: Not Brilliant beer quality

This is definitly the best pub in Selly Oak especially if your on a budget like most students or keen on real Ale.

Real Ale includes Brew Eleven, Ansells Mild, Bass , Adnams Bitter and I think they have a couple of others I can't remember offhand what they are.

True the Beer is not of absolutely brilliant quality neither is the range the best. Compared with the two scream pubs that don't serve real ale and the only alright drink is Hoogaarden at £3/pint it is excellent.

Prices range from £1-about £1.75 per pint.

Inside the pub is more traditional then other pubs in Selly Oak. No Music is played inside and clienteile is fairly mixed age but does include plenty of students.
