On Anon (London)
Advantages: Large venue good for a group of friends
Disadvantages: Does get extremely busy... drinks prices are inconsistent.
On Anon is a good place to go if you are with a group of people who can't make their mind up or have a variety of places to go. It's a "generic" type nightclub / bar .
Central London location right next to Piccadilly Tube station.
Plays a variety of music, chart/ dance / RnB. Lots of areas to sit and relax and dance. The area on the top floor is great for a group of friends as there is music but its quiet and places to sit and the bar doesn't get busy. On the middle floors is great to go and dance.
The prices of the drinks are expensive as in most London clubs/ bars but inconsistent. At one of the bars upstairs we were charged £6 for a vodka and red bull, at the bar downstairs £10.60 for the same drink!!!
One thing I did suspect is that the wine by the glass is watered down just because of the taste. I drank 6 large glasses of wine and did not feel drunk or have a headache the next day which is very unusual. One of my friends also felt the same and noticed that all of the bottles of wine were opened/ corked and the bar staff never had to open a bottle of wine in front of you
Its over 21's and the door staff are very tough on this policy. I went here with a group of people aged up to 35 and everyone in the group got asked for ID so make sure you carry some otherwise you will be turned away. The dress code is smart casual during the week and on weekends so sportwear which means don't wear bright white trainers but general dressy trainers are fine.
Its free entry on a weekend until 9.30pm. After 10pm you will pay £10. During the week its free entry until 10pm and you are looking to pay around £4 depending on what night you go on. During the week the place doesn't et packed but on a weekend it does get really busy and slightly cramped!
Overall a good place to go but can work out expensive.
Summary: Central club/ bar, lots of different areas to sit and chat/ drink and dance
