I was visiting friends at the end of last year and we went to lots of pubs, restaurants and bars while we were staying with them and 'The Pear Tree Inn' was one such place. Our main reason for visiting here was that they were going to having a band playing in the evening. This prompted us to get there nice and early so we could ensure that we could get some seats and have something to eat before the band came and the place got too busy!
