Advantages: Great atmosphere and all types of pubs and clubs available.

Disadvantages: Expensive!

After a recent hen night in Blackpool (well hen weekend actually) I can honestly say I was well impressed with the pubs and clubs in the area.

You really can find any type of night entertainment you want in Blackpool from quite pubs to sit and chat and arrange the night ahead to rowdy packed out clubs full of revellers having the times of their lives.

If you are on a Stag night lads there are plenty titty bars and don't worry girls we are well catered for with a good few pubs offering very fit half dressed blokes (some less than half dressed)!

Whilst the night out was great the prices were somewhat extortionate with most clubs charging around 10- 15 quid to get in and the drinks being very expensive also.

We found ourselves paying around £3.20 for a spirit and mixer or £2.20 for a half pint of cider which when compared to the £2.50 for spirits and mixers and the £1.70 for half pints of cider we pay back home is just not on.

The pubs and clubs were all packed out on the Friday night when we were there but there was very little trouble although I have heard Blackpool can get a bit out of hand at times and the pubs and clubs are not always this friendly.

Almost everywhere we went was packed out with other hen night parties or stag parties and this made for a very good time and fun atmosphere and I would recommend anyone looking for a rowdy good time hen or stag night make their way to Blackpool!!
