Newest Review: ... theatre (personally, my favourite). All the drinks are cheap, really cheap, and they always have special offers on different drinks every month when the prices go down even more! The food is brilliant and they do a permanent special offer of 2 meals for £5.00. The large plates are full to overflowing and I have never had a meal in one of their pubs which I did not like. The Wetherspoons' lamb burger meal is to die for. They have a curry club where you can try different curries on a certain night and, again, these are very cheap. If you have not tried any of the Wetherspoons pubs, then treat yourself and find the nearest one to you now. Most of them are rather large where they have taken over buildings which were not originally intended as pubs. The one in Braintree is a converted cinema and the one in Colchester is a converted theatre (personally, my favourite).
