      Very helpful

I've discovered a really pleasant Pub in the village of Fillongley in Warwickshire, called The Cottage. It has a country location on the outskirts of the village (north end), with lots of tables outside, & grass for children to play on. The thing that makes it different is the restaurant-quality food, served in a Pub atmosphere. They have quite an extensive menu, all home-made & freshly prepared - faggots, belly pork, fish of the day, different meats (often served with sauces). Starters are good - mussells are a favorite of mine. Proces are say £3 for a starter, & £7 for a main course. Three or four different beers - Pedigree, Bass, plus one from the local micro brewery at The Griffin, Shustoke, about 5 miles away. I often go on a Saturday for lunch. There's a non-smoking area, & getting a table is never a problem. Child-friendly too. Plenty of newspapers for those who want to visit on their own.
