The Pyrotechnics Arms is a pub in Nunhead Green in London, just a short walk to my mates house in Peckham this is what he can class as his local. Gaining it's name of Pyrotechnics Arms for being on the site of an old firework factory - it's a relatively small boozer with two rooms surrounding a pub and a seperate slightly chav busy pool table room as well as a little beer garden outside.

We were barely through the doors and yet to order when being offered cocaine and ecstasy, most probably a result of me having long hair! A quick view of the child-filled smokey pub room left little to be desired but this pub was in fact a friendly family pub where there is little trouble and cheap beer.. at 1.60 for a pint of guiness, you can't really go wrong.

This place has a bad name on various review sites, much to the surprise of my mate who when seeing the pub described as having unemployed chavvy clientelle, commented but "they're Irish" lol. It's a bit rough around the edges but cheap and I struggle to see you getting your head kicked in! I didn't try the food so can't comment!
