The Quoyburray Inn is located near Tankerness, on the Orkney mainland. It gives its address as Tankerness, but I'm not sure there is a definable place called Tankerness. It is located on the A960, around 5 miles from Kirkwall. My parents and I decided to head for Quoyburray for tea one night, having seen it advertised in a few places and thought it looked like a nice Scottish country pub. Evening meals are served from 6pm to 9pm, and we arrived around 6.30pm to find it empty - this soon changed however, and most tables were taken when we left after our meal.
