Advantages: Plays rock music if your into it, Pool table and pinball machine

Disadvantages: Shame its so small, Lack of seating, espeically when its very busy

As you walk down St Georges street Norwich, a small road located next to St Andrews hall, you will come across a little medieval pub. This pub is the Red Lion. The Red Lion is one of Norwich's best pubs for people into Rock music. The pub is always full of rockers, goths and punks on a Friday and Saturday night and has a good jukebox. Twice a month a DJ is brought in who plays requests ranging from The Sisters of mercy to Guns 'n' Roses to Slipknot.
As mentiond the pub can become very packed, and its a shame its so small with such limited seating. Other features in the pub apart from the Juke Box include a pool table and a pin ball machine. Drinks prices are about average for Norwich (around £2 a pint), and there are usually some decent offers on. Food is served during the day and consists of sandwiches and baguettes rather then typical pub lunches.
The pubs atmosphere is fairly friendly and seems to attract a lot of regulars, rather then local business men popping in for a quick drink (this is probably down to the fact that its a more rock orientated pub).
The inside furnishings of the pub are interesting. Some of the tables are made out of old clothes mangels, and the walls are covered in old metal tobbacco and beer signs, and farming implements from the past.
I'd recommend the pub to any rock music fan, espeically on the 2nd and last weekend of every month when they have the DJ on.
