Ropsley Fox (Grantham) Pub / Bar National

Newest Review: ... who is lucky enough to live around the corner, I can speak from experience. Several fab nights have been spent here, it's about 6 miles out of Grantham so the coppers aren't too vigilant about closing time and if you become a regular, wey hey There is another pub in our village but its a bit of a "local pub for local people" if you know what I mean. At the Fox, if you like beer, you're welcome. I consider myself to be extremely lucky to live literally around the corner from this place. Jack and his family have been the new owners since October 07. They have turned this pub around buy doing first class food with a specialty in steak and grills at a very reasonable price. The atmosphere is good with leather sofas in the conservatory to relax on before and after your meal. The large a la carte menu is excellent along with a chef's special menu that changes weekly. Myself, family and friends are frequent diners at the pub. Jack also has a good selection of traditional beers, wines and spirits. If you are looking for a good night out this is the place to visit.

Since been re opened in Sept 2007 the new owners are fab. They have made this pub into a nice restaurant and steakhouse. The food is very well priced and the steaks are cooked to perfection. Well worth a visit. The conservatory is now a chill out lounge with wide screen tv and leather sofas along with local live music. They even do a take-away fish and chip night on a Friday and are starting a pizza take away service. Why go into Grantham with all this on your door step.
