Jack and his family have been the new owners since October 07. They have turned this pub around buy doing first class food with a specialty in steak and grills at a very reasonable price. The atmosphere is good with leather sofas in the conservatory to relax on before and after your meal. The large a la carte menu is excellent along with a chef's special menu that changes weekly. Myself, family and friends are frequent diners at the pub. Jack also has a good selection of traditional beers, wines and spirits. If you are looking for a good night out this is the place to visit.

Since been re opened in Sept 2007 the new owners are fab. They have made this pub into a nice restaurant and steakhouse. The food is very well priced and the steaks are cooked to perfection. Well worth a visit. The conservatory is now a chill out lounge with wide screen tv and leather sofas along with local live music. They even do a take-away fish and chip night on a Friday and are starting a pizza take away service. Why go into Grantham with all this on your door step.

This pub has it all basically. It's a traditional pub, with bar snacks, guest beers and a restaurant but it also has a Chinese takeaway.
