My friends and I love to eat at the Slug and Lettuce. We do have several choices of restaurants, pubs and wine bars here in Winchester and the Slug and Lettuce is usually our top choice. At the Winchester location you have the option of dining inside or outside. Actually we just returned from an afternoon of dining there.
What I love about this place is that you have a selection of values depending on the day. Sometimes we drop by on Monday afternoon after a long day at work to enjoy Happy Monday's of 50% off food orders plus you can get £3 cocktails or have a pitcher for £9! Wednesday's are cool too as this is £9.95 a bottle all day.
As for the food I would definitely recommend the tasty fish pie, grilled chicken fillet burger or the zesty Thai style chicken citrus wrap. These choices are certainly thumbs up! I'd say go for it!
