A great little cafe (Sun Cafe)

Advantages: Really nice food and relaxed atmosphere Disadvantages: A little pricey but worth it in my opinion The Sun Café is a café on Sun Street in Lancaster. It is on a side road near to the Sun Hotel and Natwest bank. It has a fairly extensive menu catering to vegetarians and meat eaters alike and is an excellent place for lunch. They do a range of ciabattas, paninis and sandwiches as well as salads and platters in which you can choose a number of items from a long list of meats, vegetables, salads, cheeses, bread and dips to get exactly what you want. It is reasonably priced but at the higher end of the price range for a lunch. However, the surroundings make it well worth a little extra. It is a nice open space with a relaxed atmosphere. There is table service and the staff are always polite, helpful and smartly turned out. I particularly like going there for Sunday brunch as they do a wide range of breakfast options to suit just about everyone and will cater to your specifications wherever possible. The food is always delicious and really nicely presented. Summary: A lovely lunch spot |
