Newest Review: ... for having a meal with friends. There is parking and it's just off the main street of the village. We were able to get seated straight away with no wait and the staff were lovely and friendly and prompt in coming over and taking our orders for food and drinks. Throughout the meal the staff were attentive, friendly and had a genuine warmth about them which is always nice, particularly at busy times of year as this was. The area in which we ate our meal was fairly small but this just meant we weren't crammed in with lots of other diners that we didn't know and it was the perfect opportunity for my friends and I to have a nice chin wag... more

I went to stay with some friends in Milton Keynes in December 2010 and we visited numerous pubs and restaurants in this time. Our reason for selecting this pub, so I was told, was that although it was the Christmas period we were able to get some of the more traditional pub fayre rather than just having the standard December Christmas pub menu. Sounded good to me and we promptly set off. The pub itself is quite quaint and small but it's just perfect for having a meal with friends.
