Newest Review: ... impression. In the summer the large windows are opened to let in some air and there are a couple of small tables and chairs outside, normally taken up by smokers. The pub specialises in real ale and carries a detailed beer menu listing a number of varieties. As well as the more traditional ales you can get fruit beer and even chocolate beer in a bottle which was very tasty! I was introduced to the pub by some ale-drinking friends who are very impressed with the selection on offer. For non-ale drinkers the selection is less impressive. After attending my graduation in Sheffield last week, I was reminded of what a great time I had there and thought I should write some reviews of the bars I used to frequent. I wrote this review from memory, so apologies if it's not quite as detailed as it should be! The Devonshire Cat is a pub I spent quite a lot of time in. It is located on Devonshire Green, a bit further down from West Street and Division Street (where most of the pubs and bars are), a bit out of the city centre and quite near to Sheffield Uni.
