Newest Review: ... was how clean and modern the interior was. I was greeted by Adam and he carried my bags to the room, which was in one of the converted stables. The room was quite small but tastefully decorated and clean. Everything needed was to hand including tea making tray, hairdryer and complimentary soaps, shower gel and shampoo. My partner arrived about half an hour later. We had fun trying to get the shower to fill the bath but this was rectified the next morning when we were shown how to convert it! My partner and I stayed at the Dog and Doublet for two nights when attending a wedding reception at Sandon Hall. The Dog and Doublet is situated directly opposite the gate house of Sandon Hall in a prime position if you are looking for accomodation. I arrived prior to my partner having travelled from Portsmouth, my first impression was how clean and modern the interior was.
