My partner and I stayed at the Dog and Doublet for two nights when attending a wedding reception at Sandon Hall. The Dog and Doublet is situated directly opposite the gate house of Sandon Hall in a prime position if you are looking for accomodation. I arrived prior to my partner having travelled from Portsmouth, my first impression was how clean and modern the interior was. I was greeted by Adam and he carried my bags to the room, which was in one of the converted stables. The room was quite small but tastefully decorated and clean.
