Advantages: Excellent service and food.
Disadvantages: Sometimes quite busy
The Fort pub is in the centre of Newquay, and I have experienced probably some of the best meals I've ever had there!
Firstly, the service is excellent. On one occasion, my partner had gone to the bar to order our meals whilst I remained at the table. While he was still at the bar, getting the drinks, our food arrived at the table, looking wonderful.
It is a large pub, but still very cosy. It is split into different sections - there are cosy dark areas with leather chairs, and various stuffed animals (which I didn't like very much!) on the walls, there is the bar, and the main eating area, and there is a large outside area with picnic table seating, which overlooks Newquay beach, and is a wonderful place to sit and eat your meal (providing the Seagull don't beat you to it!)
Wonderful, reasonably priced food, excellent service, comfortable surroundings, usually and understandably quite busy. I'd recommend it to anyone.
