This pub is one of the best one to take the kids to run around in. At the rear there is an enclosed children's area which has climbing frames, ropes and swings which have been built in local wood. The pub itself can be found in the centre of Minehead on the main high street and it has a well maintained patio area at the front with good quality wooden tables and chairs. They try and keep the exterior looking good with stunning flower arrangements. Inside it is split into a restaurant and bar area which has different arrangement of comfortable seating. The food is the type you would expect of a weatherspoons pub so if burger and chips is your thing then this is great but dont go expecting fantastic local food as that isnt there market. At the weekend in the evening it is turned into more a social place with a DJ playing music and has a late licence and it has been known to have a band now and again. Again as with the food there isnt many local beers so it consists of alco pops and lagers. Though the choice for childrens drinks is good. If you need a place for the kids to run around in then this is the pub for you.
