When me and my mate went to Stourport last weekend we decided to go into town so we could watch the Villa make fools of Man U, it was on in Wetherspoons but the place was packed out and we'd just had a crap meal in there so we wanted to go somewhere else instead. An old bloke having a fag outside said we should try The Old Beams instead, even though I've been to Stourport hundreds of times I've never heard of this pub so followed his directions. It turns out that it's only just down the road past the fair so it only took us 3 mins to get to, it's laid back a bit off the road and that's probably why I've never noticed it before.
