      A nice pub!

With so many bars and pubs to choose from on the beach road in Weston Super Mare this one actually stands out due to its obvious size and being yellow fronted with splashes of black and with a billboard outside offering a two for the price one meal deal. The pub is smart outside, two minutes walk from the main town centre with ample wooden seating outside to enjoy a drink and a cigarette overlooking seafront.

There is pay and display parking next to the pub in the form of an independent car park, buses and taxis are plentiful and it is situated near to plenty of other places to have a drink including the pier across the road so this is in a good location.

Clientèle for this pub really does span the ages. Weekend nights you get plenty of young groups of people but daytimes, well mainly I'd say it was families and older people and course children are welcome in here. I have been in here late night and in the daytime with my parents and my boyfriend at the time and I have always enjoyed my visit.

With the pub being quite large in the size the pub is very clean and tidy inside with dark wooden furniture and tables of lots of different shapes and sizes. This has a sort of olde worlde feel rather than overly modern and is smart with dark carpets and light walls and plenty of lighting. The staff are really friendly and helpful and clean the place down often there are fruit machines and an atm machine in here and of course toilets including a disabled one which are all kept clean and tidy.

The bar is large with all the usual drinks available including none alcoholic of course but alcohol wise plenty of drought beer and wine is about as well as alcopops. An alcopop is about £3.50 a bottle, a coke £1.80 and a pint about £3.00. The menu is extensive with many meals on offer with two for the price of one meaning for about £8.00 you can choose from fish and chips, pie and chips and burger and chips and things like that. There are cakes and starters available as well as childrens menus though I can't actually say alot about the food as I have never seen people eating here and can only therefore review this as a pub to be honest. However I was impressed with the amount of diverse dishes on offer to choose from.

Overall I like this pub alot. It has a nice private feel, low music playing and reasonable prices. I feel safe and comfortable here and its a great place to meet day times!
