The Plug (Sheffield)

The Plug is located above a block of offices right in the heart of the city centre and since opening its doors a few years ago it has established itself as one of the most popular venues in the city. It is a large club split into three different rooms; cleverly called Live, Earth and Neutral. Live is the room where most of the live bands play and there is a stage and a room large enough to accommodate around 500 people standing. Plug is one of many night clubs in Sheffield. It mainly appeals to the student market but also has local night running throughout the week. I have only been to the student nights and I dont know how much they differ from the local night but here are my opinions etc! Plug as a venue has three rooms Live, Neutral and Earth. Each room can be used separately, or in combination. I has a deceptive and huge capacity 1,200,!
