So I went for a night out in Sheffield last week for the first time, and someone recommended that we go to The Plug. We then heard it was £1 per drink and decided we should definitely go!

We somehow got in for free (I think the entry was about £3/£4 otherwise) and we arrived at about 11:30pm. When we got arrived there were about 10 people there and I think we were all thinking we would have a few £1 drinks and then make a move. However a few drinks into the night and the place was starting to fill up, by the time we left about 2:00am it was really busy.

The actual club had several different rooms, we were in a pretty big room which had a bar along one side and a big dancefloor, as well as other space around it for just standing and chatting. The music was a great mix of everything really, but it was mainly chart music. We walked through some of the other rooms and they were a lot quieter but all seemed quite similar really.

The people in the club were mainly students, I was probably one of the oldest in there at 23! This normally bothers me when everyone seems really young but on this occasion it didn't as such cheap drinks, good music, and a fun atmosphere made it such a good night!

As I said drinks were £1 and this included things like vodka and mixer which is all I drink anyway so not too sure about the other drinks.

The Plug is quite central so it was easy to get to, and overall I had a great night there and would love to go again!
