The Rummer Tavern is an old pub in the centre of Cardiff. It is directly opposite the castle which makes for a lovely setting. It's on Duke Street, just off busy shopping stretch Queen Street so it makes for a quieter choice of pub than one on the main street. It is a very yee oldie pub with wooden beams and chunky old style wooden tables and chairs. The decor is very traditional with nice old fashioned pictures and menus on chalk boards.
