After having a meal at The Sandcastle two year ago, I recommended it to some friends and off we went on 13/03/20010.
We decided to have a Carvery even though it was 7.30 at night, we paid for our meals and went to the area where it was kept on Warmers. We asked for Beef since their were only two choices left, the other being Pork.. The Beef was nearing the end of the Joint and was rather Fatty looking, I asked the Young lady who was the Chef cutting it if she would refrain from putting any Fat on my plate, she replied * I will do my Best * I was hoping there would be another Joint coming from the Kitchen area but it didn't happen.

She struggled to cut more slices from this weeny bit of Beef until she managed to share what was left with my other two friends. Unfortunately, the third person of our group got the worst of it, there was more fat then Beef which ruined her meal. She didn't want to make a fuss so sat and eat it in Silence. We had to ask if there were any more Roast Potatoes because there wasn't enough on the warmer, we got some more.. There was hardly any Cabbage left so one of us declined and the Yorkshire pudding was Crispy and Dry.
We left most of our Meals and left quietly, we were going elsewhere and were meeting other friends, we really couldn't be bothered to complain as the staff were busy clearing tables.

If we were told at the time of Paying for the meals that they were low on everything, we could have ordered something else so I suppose we have only ourselves to blame after starting to fill our plates.
