 ... service throughout the meal and the Landlord and Landlady were always on hand and attentive and by the time we left we felt like we had made new friends. The food was imaginative, cooked to perfection and just delicious - even down to the home made cranberry...more

My husband and I love to eat out and over the last few months we had been recommended to pay a visit to The Swan At Frodesley near Dorrington in Shropshire. We eventually got round to it last weekend and I'm annoyed with myself for not indulging sooner. When we pulled alongside the quaint country 'pub' we thought it looked a bit run down and wondered if we'd made the right choice, but my doubts disappeared as soon as we walked in and were delighted to find a newly refurbished Meditterean style havern with nooks and crannies where couples can 'hide away', or the main room where larger parties could dine.
