The Three Crowns Inn (Walsall)Newest Review: ... over there because when my mum was pregnant the smell of cooking made her sick so we came here at least 3 times a week and it was a proper meal for less than a Mcdonalds meal would be. You get 3 lots of meat and today it was turkey, beef and gammon but sometimes I've been in there when it's proper pork instead of the gammon and one time they had lamb but it wasn't that nice and I think ... more |

We used to eat in the Three Crowns when we lived in Erdington but last year we moved to the other side of Birmingham and haven't been back but it was a proper nice carvery so when we were in the area today me and my dad went in for Sunday dinner. The carvery was about £6.00 today because it's Sunday but it's usually loads cheaper and I think an adult carvery is about £3.50 in the week, it might have gone up since but it's always been known as cheaper than anywhere else round here so I bet it hasn't gone up much. Typically for a carvery, you have a choice of gammon, turkey or beef which the chef carves in front of you to go on the plates. I usually have a slice of each, although any combination of meats is possible. For example my children find the gammon too salty so ... Read the complete review
