Once through the gates there is a large cobbled courtyard with trestle tables and benches which are covered by an awning, an outside bar and a stall selling food- Mamma's Jerk Chicken and bbq grills. The Vibe Bar. We were recently in the East End of London and taking a trip through memory lane by wandering along Brick Lane. It was quite surreal when at 1 o clock on a Saturday afternoon, we heard loud (very loud!) music coming from one of the old large warehouse buildings. When we took a closer look, there was definitely some kind of activity going on which in Newcastle tends to happen post midnight- flashing lights and people really dancing on the dance floor. Intriqued we had to take a look. At the large gates were doormen who told us that there was a musical festival (reggae) which was going to go on all day and most of the night ...
