Despite the opinion of 'Hadleigh Boy' from his online review, my grandparents and I decided to have dinner at The Wild Man this evening.

We were impressed with the high level of customer service; being greeted with a friendly smile and our table was ready despite arriving 20 minutes early. We were amazed with the wide range of choice from their menu. It was very well put together and all sounded very tempting. We ordered two carveries and one carbonara.

Again, the service here was outstanding. We were informed when the carbonara was almost ready, so that we could go to the carvery in time for us to all eat together. We had a professional chef who carved the meats to perfection, including a nice variety of turkey, beef & gammon. We could then help ourselves to a fine selection of various hot & freshly-cooked vegetables, roast potatoes, stuffing and various sauces. I would be interested to see how 'Hadleigh Boy' would present his vegetables without keeping them in hot water, as I wouldn't like to eat dried out vegetables that were just sitting on a plate ...

We found it very difficult to criticise any of the meals. All very well cooked, hot and fairly quick - what more could you want?!

So for three very fulfilling meals for under £30, delivered with excellent service, I could not disagree more with the previous review. We will definitely be visiting again! :)
