An odd pub this one and not one that I venture into too often - although I did pop in for an occasional drink on my way home from work when I lived locally. This is one of those pubs that seems to change ownership on a very regular basis, some of it's incarnations have been really good (there was a period when I'd have said it did the best bar food in town) and others that are just dire. Last time I was there it was going through a very 'laddish' phase with big screen football and lots of young lads drinking far too much lager.
