Via Fossa (Manchester) Pub / Bar National

Newest Review: ... still a good urban myth. If you've not visited it then do go. It is not just a lively bar with a dance floor and drinking to the early hours. It's real interesting too. Lots of different levels. Some of the best seating in town if you go early evening for a chat and a few jars. It's got some of the most varied and amazing seats I've seen. check out the top floor wooden seat made out of slices of tree. Plus the next floor down with that furry lurv chair. Even a trip to the loo holds interest - the toliet doors look like something out of 'ye olde goal'! It's a friendly place - be warned it gets pack... more

For a good night out visit Via Fossa on Canal Street in Manchester. There are tables outside for when the weather permits and inside there are different levels and a dance floor, DJ and lots of nooks and crannies to hide away in and enjoy the evening!! One thing to watch out for though are the low flying speakers *g*. A friend did manage to walk into one of them ... he was under the influence of alcohol at the time but it is something to be aware of. People are friendly and loo's are clean which is a big plus in a busy place in town!!There was still toilet roll left at the end of the night, a real bonus. It's worth paying it a visit ...  Read the complete review
