Advantages: Great Food & Lots Of Drinks Choices. Good Atmosphere. Free Rodeo Ride On Saturdays

Disadvantages: Can Get Very Busy & Raucous At Weekends

Welcome to Blackpool's only Australian themed bar. This is part of a chain of Aussie Bars which can be found throughout towns in the country.

The Bar can be found on Queen Street which branches of the prom straight across from the North Pier. This means that it's in quite a good location near The Tower, Funny Girls & lots of other bars & clubs.

This branch of the Walkabout is pretty big. It has a large downstairs area along with upstairs seating. There are plenty of the couches with people who know this chain of bars will find familiar. There is also the usual emphasis on sport. Lots of TV screens scattered both up & downstairs with a massive Projector Screen behind the bar & small TV screens even in the toilets. You can watch live sport all day from both Sky & ESPN.

This bar also boasts "Blackpool's only free ride" I'm not entirely sure how accurate that statement is, but there is no mistaking the Bucking Bronco which can be found in the bar every Saturday between 3pm and 7pm. They even occasionally offer special prizes or make Stag & Hen Party's play to different rules.

The bar has loads of different options for your tastebuds. Imported Aussie beers plus all the usual British suspects. Cocktails & Soft Drinks too. They also serve food for the majority of the day offering loads of different choice for reasonable prices including the chance to give Kangaroo a try.

I would recommend the bar to tourists & locals alike. It doesn't get too busy in the week as there aren't as many people about so you can have a quiet drink. But on weekends though it really comes to life with loads of people, dressed up Stags & Hens & a great atmosphere.

Summary: A great place for a drink or some food in Blackpool. Well worth a look.
