Walkabout Bar (Edinburgh)Newest Review: ... as an Australian Theme Pub, and although it has austrailan themes all over it, I always think of Theme Bars being tacky and full of loud people. I've been in here mid afternoon and the odd evening and although it ca get pretty busy, it isn't overbearing and you don't wait too long to get served either. This is my local when I am in the City. I've known about it for about a year and a half, but never made it round there. We eventually got round and now will alawys go there for a few drinks and the occassional meal. Situated in the Omni Centre in Edinburgh. This centre has a Cinema, Gym and the rest is made up of Eating and Drinking places such as Slug and Lettuce, Pizza Hut, Chinois Chinese Buffet and Frankie and Bennys. The Omni Centre is about a 6 minute leisurely walk away from Princes Street and how you get to it is if you are at the Waverly Train Station steps (imagine you have just walked up them!), turn to your right, cross at the traffic lights, walk ...
