Wetherspoons is a pub chain with outlets all across England. They are the same as Lloyds No.1 but dont have music. I think Wetherspoons is a great pub and caters well for all ages.

Atmosphere

During the day - laid back - children aloud.
Night time - town centre bar style- most people start their nights out in a Wetherspoons.

Good menu, very good ingredients. Childrens food is mostly organic. All eggs are free range and sausages are lincolnshire. Good 2 meals 4 £7 range and puddings are delicious.

Drinks

I hope the government dont start to put a minimum prce on drinks - i think wetherspoons may loose a lot of custom if this happens. They are famous for their cheap drinks. Bottle of wine £5, Pint £1.29 ish, Cocktails £2.50

Service
---------
Often busy at the weekend but there is always ample staff on. Food is served usually within 15mins. Staff are friendly and helpful. Tables are cleared promptly and always cleaned to a good standard.

Overall

This is a great pub with better prices. A great place to start your night in town.
