I have been going into various Wetherspoons bars for several years now. They are a large chain of pubs and restaurants and seem to be everywhere you go.

Wetherspoons serve alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks as well as hot drinks. They also serve food 7 days a week from around 8am-9pm. They serve breakfasts, hot and cold lunches, childrens food and puddings.

The food isn't anything special and is usually fresh from the microwave. Sometimes you can feel a bit ripped off, £5 for a lunch isn't bad but when bread is dry and you have a smear of mayonaise, it can be very unappetising.

They best way of getting a "good" deal is by using one of their many offers. They always have a 2 for £7 deal where you can choose from around 8 main courses. They also have a curry club on a Wednesday where you pay a set price for a curry and a drink.

Generally, wetherspoons are packed - if you are on a night out they are fine for drinking in (however they don't play music) but when it comes to food, I'd only suggest eating there if you really aren't bothered what you eat and where it comes from!!
