I currently live in Stourport on Severn and recently myself and the family thought we'd go out for an evening meal as a treat, rather than cook. As the pennies are a bit tight at the moment we were after somewhere quite cheap, but without the quality of food being compromised. I had heard some good reports about Ye Olde Crown Inn in Stourport, but had never actually been there to eat (though it used to be a regular drinking hole of mine many years ago!), so we thought we would try it out. When we spent a day in Stourport-On-Severn recently we decided to take the children on the fun fair, after spending a couple of hours racing from ride to ride we were all in need of a cold drink and a snack. My sister had spotted a Wetherspoons earlier so we hot footed it up the steep flight of steps to the outdoor seating and then I went inside to order our drinks and a plate of chips for the kids. Service in this branch is both quicker and friendlier than other Wetherspoons I've visited across the UK.
