Another quality puzzle from The Early Learning Centre. This is a great little puzzle that my son received as a birth puzzle. Obviously he cannot play with it yet and it is recommended for over 9 months of age but in my opinion it is never too early to start learning and doing puzzles.
The puzzle is a wooden puzzle and I think The Early Learning Centre always make great wooden puzzles. This one is really good quality, well made and looks nice as well.
The puzzle has 4 different pieces in it and they are 4 different shapes. There is a triangle, a rainbow, a square and a circle. They are quite chunky and big which I like as this makes it easy for little hands to put them in and out.
In order to lift out the puzzle piece there is a fairly large peg on each shape. The circle has a circle peg, the square has a square peg, the triangle has a triangular peg but the rainbow has a hexagonal peg.
The puzzle pieces are nice and colourful and have the same colour on the puzzle piece as they do in the space where the puzzle piece came out of.
Even though this is a simple puzzle, The Early Learning Centre say this puzzle improves problem solving and improves hand to eye coordination. I think it's a great puzzle and would recommend it. It is priced at £7 from The Early Learning Centre.
