      lovely puzzle

Galt have been around for years, providing kids and adults alike with hours of gaming pleasure. There perhaps is not so much of a demand for their games these days, as kids are leaning towards gaming consoles and television programmes, yet there is something refreshing about seeing their toys still around.

Their jigsaws are a delight with such attention to detail and truly beautiful illustrations that bring scenes to life. If you are after something exotic then why not have a look at the African Plains puzzle. A rich tapestry, comprising one hundred pieces. It builds to make a stunning picture of wildlife, roaming naturally in the African wilderness.

The animals have been designed with a keen eye. The highlights on the puzzle have to be the African elephant who is roaming in the background, searching for food and the leopard who is lounging in a tree. There is a lot of well disguised wildlife in the picture, which will give the jigsaw composer plenty to absorb while making the puzzle. Some jigsaws you complete and don't care much for afterwards, whereas this one has lots to keep coming back for.

The colours are rich, bright and vibrant and the shading is superb, with all the textures of the trees and soil coming to life with vigour. The hundred pieces slot together nicely and the puzzle would suit children of eight years plus. When you have completed the puzzle, why not take a photo of it with a phone and use the picture as a backdrop for a phone or a desktop? The puzzle will vary in price, but expect to pay anything between seven and fifteen pounds. Recommended and rewarding for people of all ages.
