... as the pieces are a little small for younger children.
It is probably not the most interesting jigsaw I have done but it was interesting putting the map together. It is quite challenging especially if you do not cheat and look at the finished image and you really have to know/ guess where places could be. Many of the pieces look exactly the same (either land or sea!) so it can be quite monotonous.

I like doing Jigsaws and find it a relaxing hobby. I always complete the jigsaws on a special jigsaw folder that allows me to transport it around the room and paqck it up tidily when I have not completed it but want to store it away. I always get some form of jigsaw at Christmas or Birthdays and one year I was bought this world map jigsaw. I willingly admit that when I opened my Maps International parcel courtesy of Dooyoo, I was slightly underwhelmed. A 500 piece world map jigsaw. I do actually like jigsaws - I like them a lot; as children (and in spite of a ten year age gap) my older brother and I would spend hours of companionable silence completing immense jigsaws, the more difficult the better. I like maps too: I could spend hours flicking through an atlas and I own several. And I own a world map jigsaw. It's ancient and the box is battered but it has been much enjoyed.
