Waybuloo is one of my little girls favourite television shows. It is a really interesting show and a bit different from regular television shows for children, its a bit mystical and a bit magical and if I'm being honest a bit of a mind trip for adults but kids love it. Waybuloo is set in the magical land of Nara follows the magical creatures called Piplings. The show really focuses a lot on the way children and feeling and is meant to be a show that calms children down and makes them feel good. I like this aspect of the show as there is no frantic singing, dancing, loud music, shouting etc that really gets kids worked up. That's fine in its place and we watch shows like this too but nearer bedtime or when you want some quiet time this show is great. They even do some yoga moves for children in it too.
De Li is one of the Piplings and she is probably my little girls favourite character. This is probably because she is a cat and is pink in colour and is actually very cute. Each of the Piplings embody a range of emotions and De Li represents love which I think is very cute too.
When I saw this puzzle then I knew my little girl would love it. She is moving onto more complicated puzzles and as this is a giant puzzle and only has 15 big pieces I thought it would be a good one for her and I to work on together. The picture of De Li is just like her character on the television show so I like that they have kept the same look to her. She has a small body and a very large head and cute eyes which are spaced quite far apart on her head. She always has a smile on her face which is lovely. She is pale pink in colour and in this puzzle she is pictured in all her pink flowery glory. She is pushing a wheelbarrow that has some flowers in it and there are various gardening items around her like a digging fork and spade.
The puzzle is over 90cm so it is quite large and will take up quite a bit of floor space but it comes in a nice box which you can use for storage afterwards. I think its really well made. Its made out of quite thick cardboard so after a few months of playing with it its holding up really well although a few of the pieces have been bent but this has not caused the picture to come off in any way which is nice. The pieces fit together nicely and provide a bit of a challenge for young children and to be honest adults too!!
At a cost of £10 from Fisher Price I think this is a great puzzle for Waybuloo fans!
