The pieces fit nicely together and the bright colours and fact that there are plenty of people in the picture (5 in all) provided ample opportunity for discussion. We liked the fact that the puzzle had wavy edges as it made it that little bit different. I am a big fan or Orchard Toys, so I've bought this puzzle before as a gift, but until today I hadn't really sat and played with it properly so wasn't sure if the lucky recipients of this puzzle were just being polite when they said it was good! Orchard toys are a British company, and remarkably these days, the toys and games are UK made. All their puzzles and games are made of good quality and according to the manufacturer made of recycled and wipeable cardboard - I can confirm that the puzzles are indeed wipeable and indeed durable from my own experience following a rather fraught play date. On a recent trip to the supermarket my 18 month old daughter picked this Frie Engine jigsaw off the shelf. When I seen that these were on offer at £3 I decided to let her have it. We have a few jigsaws at home but they are mainly wooden and wasnt sure what kind of quality this one would be as it is made of cardboard. I was delighted when we opened it to find that the 20 pieces were all fairly large - no chocking hazard - and they were really good quality cardboard. The picture on the front of the pieces is in really bright colours and has a glossy finish. The pieces easily fit together and my daughter managed to do some of the pieces herself. ... This fire engine puzzle by Orchard toys measures 52 by 42 cm best if it's done on a hard surface. Are you going to help me make this puzzle? Look at all these bright red pieces.
