I would agree with the age recommendation of 3+ this is because the pieces are far two small and thin for younger children to complete by themselves, (I do understand not all children are the same development wise, and if your younger children are able to complete these that's great. You know your own child's abilities better than anyone else.) Through my 12 years experience within childcare settings, I beli...more

Rating:

My daughter loves to do a jigsaw puzzle; she received this particular box of 4 puzzles as a gift. The four jigsaws are 12 pieces, 16 pieces, 20 pieces and then the hardest one which is 24 pieces. Each jigsaw when complete measure 19cm x 14cm. You can tell the separate jigsaw pieces apart due to the size difference of the actual jigsaw pieces. The one with 12 pieces has larger [pieces than the 16 piece jigsaw and so on. These jigsaw puzzles are recommended for children aged 3 and up. When my youngest son was born my three year old daughter received lots of gifts from friends and relatives. One of those gifts was this set of four Disney Princess Jigsaw Puzzles. At that time my daughter had just started to become interested in all things girly and pink and princesses in particular so it was a lovely girt for her. You get four puzzles in the box each has a different number of pieces. Each puzzle shows a different picture of one or more of the Disney Princesses. The puzzle pieces are made of card but are not chunky or thicker than normal puzzle pieces. The backs of the puzzles are all the same and I found it saved time when sorting to ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Ravensburger - Disney Princess 4 in a Box: I want to put the last piece in !!! (284 words)

This is a great jigsaw set as it has puzzles for all sorts of levels of difficulty. There are four jigsaws in the box. One of them has Cinderella and her Prince front of the Disney castle. This has 12 pieces and therefore is the easiest of the jigsaws to try to do. The second jigsaw has Arial in it and has 16 pieces in it. The third jigsaw has Snow White and the seven dwarfs and has 20 pieces in it. The final jigsaw and the hardest to do as it have the most pieces have the Princess's dancing with their prince's. It has 24 pieces in the jigsaw. My daughter loves these jigsaws and has been doing them since she was ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Disney princesses, timeless classic (240 words)

Rating:

These puzzles are fantastic value for money and a good alternative to the many character ones available on the market as little girls don't tire of princesses. Each of the four puzzles shows a scene from popular disney films, and give great opportunities to talk about the stories linking them to the well loved books. The puzzles progressively get harder the more pieces involved progressing from 12, 16, 20 to 24 pieces, as the pieces in each puzzle get smaller, the scenes also get a little bit harder/busier, although the finished articles are all the same size. Whilst marketed at 3+, they are definately suitable for younger children, my daughter started these ...  Read the complete review
