==Ravensburger Star Wars Clone Wars Puzzle==
It's a wet day, there is nothing on the TV so what do you find yourself doing? A Jigsaw Puzzle of course! Jack is so keen on puzzles and he is quite the expert at them too, putting me to shame. His most recent puzzle is this Clone Wars one from Ravensburger and although he is not even four yet and the age range of this puzzle is for ages 6 and over, he can complete it in next to no time and thoroughly enjoys every minute of doing it.
I bought this puzzle from our local toy shop (support the local businesses and all) but I know the price was a little higher than it would have been had I purchased it from somewhere on line. We paid £8.49p for it but I have just been online and seen that you can pick it up from play.com for £7.79p including postage and packaging but Amazon are selling it for £4.99 so it goes to show how the price can vary and it is well worth shopping around for.
The puzzle is a XXL sized piece puzzle and there are 100 separate pieces to make it up. Like I said the age range is for ages 6 and over but Jack has no trouble doing it now so I wouldn't let the age range put you off if the child you are buying it for is a little under this.
There is only one puzzle in the box which came wrapped in a cellophane wrapper so that all the pieces were held inside and none could go missing. So far we have been able to keep all the bits together and are able to fully complete the puzzle without that one stray piece but I can't say how long that will last for. Luckily though because of the large size of each of the puzzle pieces it is not that easy to loose them.
The puzzle picture shows a clone trooper, Anakin Skywalker, Obe One Kenoby, Yoda and three other clone troopers in the back ground. The picture is well put together and makes for a relatively easy time of finding where the pieces all fit together. The puzzle itself is said to be made with hand cutting tools to ensure that no two pieces are alike. The top of each piece shows the picture in a grainy type of material which means that there is a glare free finish and even in the sunniest of rooms is clear and easy to see.
The puzzle is made of good stuff and the recycled cardboard is strong and hard wearing and the picture on the puzzle is sort of engrained into the cardboard and not something that will peel off or that can be picked of by naughty little fingers!
Jack really does love the puzzle and although he has done it many times now he still doesn't seem to be tiring of it and will do it on a weekly basis and feel such achievement once it is all put together and in one large picture. The puzzle looks good and is fun to do although I can't say that it takes much longer than 20 minutes to do from start to finish but still I feel well worth the money I paid and even better if it can be found at a cheaper price.
There is nothing bad to say about this product and for that reason I feel a top score of 5 out of 5 stars and a high recommendation is well deserved.
I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you
Many thanks for taking the time to read.
