      Nicely priced

For a very short period my daughter liked to watch the Zingzillas on Tv and when we were out at the Metro Centre we came across these jigsaws in a toy shop and she was allowed to buy them with her pocket money. I have looked these up on internet for the purpose of this review and you can buy these at ELC and they are currently half price so you can buy them for £2.50.

There are 4 jigsaws in the cardboard box they were packaged in and each one is of a different character. The jigsaws vary in difficulty with an 8, 10, 12 and 14 piece jigsaw, the jigsaws are supposed to be for ages 3 and up but my daughter has always got to grips with jigsaws quite well and she was playing with these before her 3rd birthday.

Zak is the lead singer of the band and he is mainly blue, his jigsaw is of him with his microphone striking a pose, the character is one yellowy background and then a blue background. Pansy plays what looks to me a flowered shaped banjo although I have never took much notice of the show to be sure what it is supposed to be and she is based around the colour pink, her jigsaw is of her playing her instrument and she is on a paler yellow background and then has a pink edging. Tang plays the guitar so his jigsaw is of him with his guitar and he is on a lilac coloured background with a yellow surround and finally there is drum who funnily enough plays the drums.

My daughter picked these jigsaws herself so I know they must of appealed to her but we found that they were a little too easy for her, she struggled the first time on the 14 piece but that was all. The jigsaws are not straight edged which i had thought may have stumped her a little but she has a knack of looking at the actual picture rather than the usual way of finding edges first so this wasn't a problem, even now she doesn't always start a jigsaw with the edges. The jigsaws are bright as are the characters and they have sturdy pieces and they fit together well but I would say they can be used easily by alot of under 3s. Nice jigsaws and a nice price especially at the moment.
