agarciavalino Corsair Dominator 2 x 2 GB DDR3 2000 MHz: ... either. This RAM was used in a new build PC. A PC that caused me no end of trouble when trying to get it to work. After days of testing and messing about I was finally able to conclude it was the RAM that was causing the system instability issues. The timings for the RAM were not matched, though I am unsure if this was the fault of the RAM or compatability between the memory and the motherboard. Thoug...

stuleg Kingston ValueRAM 1 GB DDR II 667 MHz
... the memory and fixing it in place. Reassembling the computer (why is there always a screw left over?) I plugged everything in and booted up. Initially there seemed little difference in speed; the vista sidebar system monitoring gizmo did indeed show that I now had 2056MB installed instead of the 1028MB before, crucially though the RAM part of the monitor was now flitting around the 60% usage level rather than maxing out as it had done all too frequently before. So, all was well, my computer was running with a new found spring in its step. But, for this review to be taken seriously I feel I need some decent benchmark comparing my new memory to my old amount. My te...

blissman70 Kingston ValueRAM 1 GB DDR II 800 MHz
... as a Cuban cigar, giving the module that great chance in life. I do not know if it was Kingston who wrapped it or the well known online site but I was well impressed with the way it was delivered as it was remarkably safe and secure inside its static free casing. For me the Kingston value range offer great deals, selling various RAM sizes for both laptop and desktop, in various capacities, from 128 to 2GB and even a 4GB for those upper crust models. And this Kingston 1GB was no exception, offering the same specs which boosted my desktop at a much lower price than some other higher priced modules. What else can I say about what is technically a wad of plastic w...

hallryu G.Skill 2 x 2 GB DDR2 1066 MHz
... run these in my gaming rig and I have to say I m very happy with them. I have had my set for about a year now and for most of that time they have been running with a mild over-clock. I believe these modules are comparable to most of the other premium PC8500 ram set, such as Corsair s Dominator s. The blue heat spreaders are not a jazzy as some other but look nice. Most motherboards supply a standard 1.8v to your memory modules. These need to run at 2.0v / 2.1v with the standard timings of 5-5-5-15 (1066 Mhz). You will therefore need to manually set the voltage and timings to 2.1v in the bios. Not a difficult task to be honest. They over-clock nicely and I have run mine...
