Advantages: Great overclocking, cheap, heatspreaders

Even at default settings, these sticks of RAM are pretty good. It scores well in the memory benhcmarking tests and it competes very well against big brands such OCZ and Crucial. But only when you start to overclock can you see the full potential.

Overclocking these modules was extremely easy. The memory ICs are extremely high quality and allow for great overclocking. I was able to overclock the ram with solid stability running at 533Mhz, meaning it was effectively turned into DDR2-1066 memory. If you do the maths, raising from 400Mhz to 533Mhz is quite a decent percentage of overclock from these little sticks.

For a lot of people wanting good gaming performance, but can't afford the likes of DDR3, but want to get some overclockable and stable sticks of ram for a cheap boost, I think the A-DATA Vitesta sticks of RAM are great. The heatspreaders seem to work reasonably well and the sticks of ram themselves seem to cope very well.
