Advantages: Very quick and has a large heat sink to keep it cool

Disadvantages: Fairly big so make sure you have enough room

OCZ have made some extreamly nice RAM not only does it perform fantastically but it also looks pretty nifty too.

This RAM is ideal for anyone looking to to upgrade or build themselves a new pc which i did for the first time recently and would recommend that people look into it before just buying an off the shelf pc that takes there fancy. For example most computers that you would buy from an electronics retailer would contain generic RAM which wouldn't be very quick or have a heat sink to keep the RAM cool which will make it last longer and run at its best.

The OCZ Reaper RAM is very quick it is 800MHz which is relitively quick for RAM. It is also CL4 which reffers to the latency or the delay when a computer accesses data. CL4 is currently the quickest available on ddr2 RAM so will reduce time spent waiting for a response but it may be very small a nearly unnoticable.

The RAM has a very eye catching design with a black heat sink and copper heat conduit with black fins for heat dissipation. They also have a fuction it's not all to look good the heat sink help to get rid of the heat that the RAM produces and from what I have seen is very effective. After a couple of hours use my RAM is very cool indeed. The heatsinks help especially when the RAM is overclocked so will run faster but also produce more heat that needs to be got rid of.

4Gb of RAM is plenty for any system no matter what you are doing so you will never have a problem there. It will easily run the latest games in vista or multi task with no trouble at all.

To summarise this RAM is great for anyone looking to build a new computer or upgrade it wil stay as cool as a cucumber and will handle any task you through at it.
