 ... not greatly keen on it. It tastes similar to other supermarket names ready meal curries of a similar price and as my heading states.... Its ok. I can't say its better than ok, but its fine to eat. It isn't hot at all and to me tastes a little spiced but very mild really. You do get a reasonable amount of small cubes of beef but not quite enough rice in my view. The sauce is of a good consistency and is quite thick. I often buy Asda ready meals and this Beef curry is in their frozen meals section. You can mix and match meals at a cost of 5 for £4.00 or to buy on its own the cost is about £1.30. I have to admit, this is a good deal and means each ready meals costs less than a £1.00. Therefore in all fairness to Asda, I wouldn't expect these ready meals to taste amazing. I love my curries and frequently eat them, both cooked from home and sometimes supermarket bought. I usually like a hot curry though and initially I didn't realise that this one is mild.
