      I love this

*Where From and How Much?* Asda Mexican Style Chicken Quiche is priced at £1.98 for a 400g quiche. These can also be currently bought on a multibuy offer at 2 for £3.00. Available to buy at www.asda.com or in store at Asda. *Nutritional Bits* Half of this quiche will provide 545 calories, 6.3g sugar, 26.4g fat, 11.5g saturated fat and 1.1g salt. This quiche contains chicken, gluten, milk, wheat and egg and is therefore not suitable for vegans or vegetarians or those with celiac disease. *Packaging* The quiche is contained within a foil tray. You could check with your local recycling to see if this is suitable for recycling. This is packaged within a card box / carton and is widely recycled. The packaging features a photograph of the quiche on a red background and would be easily identifiable in the chilled foods aisle. *Appearance and Taste* The quiche is resting within a foil tray. The shortcrust pastry case appears thick and firm. The egg filling appears slightly soft and wobbly. Cutting through the pastry is easy, even with a blunt knife. I immediately noticed a thick layer of red salsa resting above the bottom of the pastry case then piled up with a mixture of red peppers, spicy chicken and egg mixture. The quiche can be eaten cold from the carton or heated in the oven for 20 minutes or so. I have eaten this both ways and both ways is equally delicious. The chicken is lightly spiced, Mexican style, the peppers crunchy and the egg mixture filling is nice and wobbly with the perfect texture. *My Opinion* This is a really tasty filling quiche packed with flavour and nice things. Unfortunately it is also packed with calories and fat with fairly high levels of salt also. I would buy it again but would continue to just eat a quarter at a time with a large salad or beans and jacket potato, as I do at the moment. **It is also worth noting that this quiche can be frozen on the day of purchase.
