      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Not bad, not great either but worth a quid!

I love pizza and I particularly like the more unusual flavoured ones that I can find to try...I'm just not a margarita type of gal!

I spotted this in Asda costing £1.00 and decided that as I love chicken tikka I simply had to try it out!

      The Packaging:

The pizza comes in a clear plastic covering in a box and that box is square and mainly green in colour with a photograph of the pizza on the front of it. I am told that it is Asda Chicken Tikka Pizza 'An authentic Italian stone baked thin and crispy pizza base topped with a rich tomato sauce, creamy mozzarella and tikka spiced chicken breast' and that it contains no artificial colours, flavours or hydrogenated fat and that it is stone baked and there is an at a glance nutritional chart on there. On the back of the box other information listed includes ingredients and allergy advice being given, there is a full nutritional chart shown as are cooking instructions, the weight is stated which is 350g and contact details for Asda are given. Nice enough informative packaging this is.

      The Pizza:

The cooking instructions on the box say that it must be cooked from frozen and it takes about 10-12 minutes in the oven. The pizza appears thin though nicely and fully topped and is of a large size.

The base of this is really too thin in my opinion and really crispy and tastes like bread. The toppings are however ok. You get tomato sauce which tastes rather plain to me but rather a lot of mozzarella cheese which is grated on there so it melts really well. The chicken breast chunks are small, plentiful and well seasoned and give a hint of a garlic taste off and then there are slices of red onion and red peppers which are well cooked and firm and in abundance.

If you like thin and crispy pizzas then this is nice enough. I however didn't notice that it was when I purchased it and my preference is a dough based pizza however I appreciated the well seasoned toppings and textures on this and thought that it did offer value for money and it wasn't of bad quality at all!
